"If you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have a moral obligation to do something about it".

— John Lewis

The Harford County NAACP is ensuring a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

We’re securing the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.

The Harford County NAACP was started in 1920, chartered in 1930 and active until 1940. In 1954, the branch was revived and since has been committed to advancing educational and socio economic opportunities for residents in Harford County.

The NAACP of Harford County is composed entirely of volunteers who wish to further the mission of a fair and equitable Harford County. We cannot do this good work without folks like you stepping up and helping out.
